There are many companies out there who simply pressure wash roofs. While we at JJL do not wish to criticise other roof clean businesses, we do not believe this to be good practise.

90% of the time we steam the roof with low pressure, very high temperature to allow a thorough clean and instant results killing any algae or moss instantly.

Our use of Google Earth satellite technology often allows us to calculate the dimensions of your required cleaning area.

We sometimes scrape the roof tile / slate using an adapted roof scraper.

This collects the moss and dirt at the gutter line. Once the roof is scraped, we then empty out all the debris from the gutters using a gutter vac, ensuring all the downspouts are clean and free flowing.

We can also, soft wash the roof or use a biodegradable biocide treatment.

Soft wash roof clean uses a strong cleaning agent that gives instant results. Thereby bringing the roof back to its original colour or state.

Alternatively, we can treat via, a biodegradable biocide treatment that is applied on to a dry roof and left on. Biocide, aided by Mother Nature, is a progressive cleaner, usually over the next 6 months.

We also, have a low-pressure steam cleaning service for roofs, again leaving an instant clean.
